Things and Things and Things

I don't have anything in particular to talk about today, but I figured I'd better try to get something posted so as not to disappoint people who actually want to read this.

It seems like I had a pretty busy week. On tuesday my friend Jamie was in town so she, trista, and I spent some time together. We went to a softball game and had a lot of fun heckling the opposing team. I made a pretty amazing call by shouting at a batter to hit the pitcher in the "cratch" only to have the very next pitch come withing inches of doing just that (it was in the gut rather than the crotch, but still a pretty good call on my part if I do say so myself).

On Wednesday I had to say goodbye to andy who left for a trip up to the boundary waters. He stopped by my work to give me hugs and let me remind him to stay safe. I've had to find things to do to stay busy since I didn't have him around to keep me company.

On thursday I had lunch with a friend from the mortuary whom I hadn't seen in quite awhile. We went to Chipotle and the burrito I got was enough to be lunch, supper, and a bedtime snack.

On Friday I went to Fairmont and hung out with some friends I haven't seen in awhile. We basically had a few drink and talked about various odd things. Something we seem to be pretty good at doing.

Saturday I spent some quality time with my mom and we went out to lunch. Afterwards, I went to my dad's house and spent some quality time with him and annette. We just watched the twins get their butts handed to them on a platter, then went out on the lake for awhile. Later that night, I hung out with Jamie again. She played the piano for me which is one of my very favorite things, then we talked about how much life sucks sometimes.

On sunday I cleaned out the closet in my old room at my mom's (lots of skeletons you see) and then went out to lunch with her. Then Meg came over and we went to the driving range and hit some golf balls (something neither of us has done much of in the past few years). I headed back to Mankato, went for a little motorcycle ride, got a few groceries, and then relaxed for the remainder of the night. All in all, I'd say it was a pretty ok time.

I said that I'd post a few pictures from leech lake. It's a bit out of place but I'll throw one on here....
