As promised,,,,

We are, for all intents and purposes, moved in to the new place. I will show some before and after pictures so you don't have to come visit to spy and judge.

This is the living room before and after. We repainted the wall a bit darker color (but you can't see it in this photo. way to go me), redid the paint on the fireplace about the same color, and repainted the ceiling.

This is the kitchen before and after. We got new linoleum, repainted the walls, and ceiling, and moved the fridge a little. (I'm not exactly sure how andy wound up half naked in both these pictures....)

I didn't take a new picture of the main bedroom so you don't get to see it, but here is the second bedroom. We repainted the walls and ceilings, and got new carpet. They also redid part of the wall because it was moldy and disgusting (ps i forgot to rotate the before picture and don't feel like fixing it)

This is the bathroom. We got new linoleum, a new shower wall thing, and repainted the walls.

the end.

coming soon.....

so apparently people like it when i add posts to my blog more frequently even if i don't say much.....
I moved this weekend. I will post pictures once we are more thoroughly moved in. I'm not writing my address for all the world to see, so if you want it, you'll have to send me an email. I will however, go as far as to say that I moved to North Mankato. So far it has been ok, but I am sick to death of cleaning. Unfortunately that doesn't change the fact that I still have to clean the apartment that I moved out of in hopes of getting a decent portion of my deposit back.

A girl I work with and her girlfriend helped us move a bunch of stuff on Friday and then my dad and Annette came up on saturday to help us move the rest of the big stuff. Now we just have a few small things to get out of the apartment and we'll be all set to go in our new place.

Boudary Waters

I went to the boundary waters with andy over labor day weekend. It was pretty neat. We fished and fished and fished. We only caught about 10 though. Four northerns a piece and a couple stupid small perch. Andy ate two of the northerns. I hate fish. I tried some, but didn't like it.

It got really cold overnight but I packed a lot of layers so I didn't freeze. The coldest it got was 36 degrees. One day it made it up to 70 though so I got to run around in shorts and a tank for about three hours.

Both mornings we were there, there was a ton of fog all along that water. It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen, but difficult to take good pictures of.

Our campsite was pretty cool. It was facing the water and there was a rock ledge drop off deal to the water. The area to set up the tent was tucked back a way. I like the site a lot.

Overall I had a good time, but it was nice to get home and shower and shave. My hair was disgusting by the time I got home to wash it.
